🚗 Luftgekühlt 11: An Experience Every Classic Porsche Enthusiast Should Live
There are events every car lover dreams of attending at least once — and Luftgekühlt is definitely one of them.
This year, we traveled to Raleigh, North Carolina, to experience the event for the first time, and even though I went as a spectator, the experience left me full of inspiration and new ideas to keep creating at NVY Composite.
For those who might not know, Luftgekühlt (which means “air-cooled” in German) is a celebration of the history and spirit of classic air-cooled Porsches.
It’s not a typical car show — it’s a carefully curated gathering where every vehicle tells its own story. From the early 356 models to the 993s, each car showcases craftsmanship, authenticity, and the personality of its owner.

The 11th edition took place in an incredible setting, bringing together historic cars, automotive art, and — most importantly — a community that lives and breathes design and engineering.
What impressed me the most was the atmosphere — a perfect balance between precision and passion. Luftgekühlt isn’t just for collectors; it’s a space where families, enthusiasts, and creators come together to celebrate everything that makes the automotive world special.
At NVY Composite, we share that same spirit. Every carbon fiber component we design aims to combine performance and aesthetics while honoring the dedication and emotion behind each build.
Leaving the event felt like hearing an engine come to life after months of work — pure motivation to keep building, creating, and pushing forward.
Luftgekühlt 11 was more than an exhibition; it was a reminder of why we fell in love with cars in the first place.
A celebration of art, engineering, and community — organized to perfection, full of inspiration for both professionals and families alike.
And who knows — maybe next year, NVY Composite will be there in a more active way 😉
