How to Install

All our parts are handcrafted using fiberglass and/or carbon fiber.

We take great care to ensure the quality of our work and test fit our parts on vehicles available in our workshop. However, since these parts are not machine manufactured, minor imperfections may be present. These small variations are normal in handcrafted composite parts and do not affect the functionality of the product.

Professional Installation

We strongly recommend having your parts installed by a professional body shop experienced in working with fiberglass and composite materials. Proper installation requires specific tools and knowledge to achieve correct fitment and finish.

If your vehicle has been involved in previous accidents or has body damage, proper fitment cannot be guaranteed. NVY Composite is not responsible for improper installation performed by inexperienced installers.

Test Fitting & Modifications

Before making any modifications or applying paint, all parts should be test fitted on the vehicle. This step is essential to identify and correct any fitment adjustments in advance.

Fiberglass components commonly require minor modifications during installation, including sanding, drilling, trimming, filling, or adjusting mounting points. In some cases, internal reinforcements such as brackets may also need to be modified or removed.

These adjustments are a normal part of installing aftermarket composite components.

Surface Preparation & Painting

Unpainted fiberglass parts may present minor surface imperfections, such as small cracks or uneven areas in the gelcoat. These are corrected during the preparation stage prior to painting.

Proper preparation typically includes sanding, priming, and leveling the surface before applying final paint. Skipping this process may result in poor paint adhesion or finish quality.

A professional body shop will ensure the correct preparation process is followed to achieve the best possible result.

Hardware & Fitment Disclaimer

Unless otherwise stated, installation hardware is not included. This typically includes bolts, screws, clips, and adhesive materials. Your installer will determine the appropriate mounting method for your specific vehicle.

All aftermarket fiberglass and carbon fiber parts may require adjustments to achieve proper fitment. By purchasing our products, the customer acknowledges that preparation, modification, and professional installation are required to achieve optimal results.
